I am running a linux kernel 2.6.27.4
I downloaded the debian file sys from the support page.
Now I get the following errors.

Cannot access the Hardware Clock via any known method.
Use the --debug option to see the details of our search for an access method.

Re: Debian File system on USB

The pre-packaged Debian file system is kept as a generic file system that is independent of kernel versions.  The system boot up script will try to locate any kernel modules that needs to be loaded at run time.  The pre-compiled kernel has all device drivers as compiled-in and does not have any modules.  You can ignore the message or just create an directory /lib/modules/<kernel version> and with an empty modules.dep file in the directory to quiet the script.
