kernel menuconfig settings for 9260

hi,

I have built a new kernel for the 9260, but seem to be missing some support for MTD. I have the NAND driver, so it shows:

NAND device: Manufacturer ID: 0xec, Chip ID: 0xf1 (Samsung NAND 128MiB 3,3V 8-bit)
AT91 NAND: 8-bit, net ECC
Scanning device for bad blocks

but i should expect tha to be followed by:

3 cmdlinepart partitions found on MTD device at91_nand
Creating 3 MTD partitions on "at91_nand":
0x00000000-0x00100000 : "bootloader"
0x00100000-0x00400000 : "kernel"
0x00400000-0x08000000 : "rootfs"

which is missing. Am i missing a configuration setting? could someone point me in the right direction? I am building with at91sam9260ek_defconfig and just a single change for AT91NAND flash support.

thanks

Steve

Re: kernel menuconfig settings for 9260

The MTD support must be enabled.   Attached is factory default config for GESBC-9260.  Copy it to kernel root directory as .config, make oldconfig, and do menuconfig to add customization.

* config-2.6.27.4 (28.1 KB - downloaded 88 times.)

Re: kernel menuconfig settings for 9260

Hello,

I'd like to rebuild the kernel but I don't know which options need to be configured for using wireless. May you add the .config file with wireless configuration?

Regards,
