add pppd package to file system

Hello i need to add the package pppd into my file system image for the 9260S target  .

1) I can add this package in an image create with buildroot  (build with uclibc toolchain)
but when i tried to run in this file system an application that compile with gcc-4.2.3-glibc-2.3.3 .
says
# ./hello
-sh: ./hello: not found

the same executable works well in the glomation filesystem image (9260rootfs.img)

I tried to compile the buildroot with  gcc-4.2.3-glibc-2.3.3 but failed ! uclibc libraries are missing.
what can i do?

2) I tried to install with apt-get install but the package is not in the repositories that be in the 9260rootfs.img.

where i can find a repository with the pppd package for arm ?

thanks in advance

Re: add pppd package to file system

Program compiled with glibc can not run on system build with uclibc.  The same is true in reverse.  The factory installed file system is based on Emdebian.   You can compile pppd package and install it manually.

Re: add pppd package to file system

Do you known if it is posible to compile kernel with uclibc or buildit in the same buildroot ? . Is a difficult process ?

I need to build a package of software to re build kernel and filesystem .Because i need to add drivers to the kernel and this package to filesystem .

I will tried to build the package manually .

Thanks
