Is there any information as to how to setup and run the wifi on the 9260S board?

Does the 9260 2.6.25 kernal patch enable the wifi system?

The driver source code can be downloaded from http://www.viaarena.com/Driver/vt6656_wlan_linux_v118.zip.  The current driver is non-GPL.  You need to modify the license clause to be able to load with GPL build kernel for testing purposes.  The GPL version will be available soon.

You can use wireless tools package from Debian to configure the WiFi module after compile and load the driver module.
