Memory layout
What is the DRAM layout on the 32Mb board?
Is it safe to read an image into 0x20000000 in U-boot? When burning a 31Mb image 0x21000000 means there is not enouth ram to fit the image...

Re: Memory layout
The SDRAM on GESBC-9260(S) starts at 0x20000000. The U-boot normally is configurured to use the last section of the SDRAM. The U-boot takes about 600KB of memory. The 31MB image should be able to fit into the SDRAM without overwriting U-boot if you place the image in the beginning of the SDRAM at 0x20000000.

Re: Memory layout
Ok - I tried offsetting in the begining - but then the card naturaly hangs when i reach the end of ram and overwrite U-boot
It is very time consuming to flash 31Mb over serial cable (kermit 4 hours). Every time i load an image with tfpt and check the crc32 i get a different checksum. I use Tftpd32 on an XP laptop connected to a 100Mbit D-link switch which the 9260 also is connected to... Should i try to isolate the swith from the rest of the network, or try to locate a 10Mbit switch? You mentioned other people had had problems with some tftp server - which?
