Any prompt when hyperterm connected to DB9?
Hello,
I have new GESBC-9620S and have connected Hyperterminal via a null modem cable to the default DB9 female connector on the board. Even after say 10 minutes I see no prompt. Is this normal behavior? I would assume there is a linux prompt?
I have powered up the board with a 5V supply and see a LED glow on the board. Also I have put in a CR1220 button cell for the RTC.
I am using a belkin DB9 female to female cable to connect to my desk top which has a serial port.
Thanks,
ujar

Re: Any prompt when hyperterm connected to DB9?
The debug UART on GESBC-9260(S) is P0. The DB9 connector on the GESBC-9260S board is P1. It is not enabled by the factory installed Linux file system. Please connect the NULL modem cable to P0.
