How can I operate normal ROM boot sequence with GESBC-9260S?

hello everyone,

I'm a new user with GESBC-9260S, I found a simple problem with it, describe as follows:

I set up  HyperTerminal after bring up RS232 debug port on the board, and jumps on the board was set as default setting.

power up it, then display debug information in the HyperTerminal as description in user-manual when S1(a jump on the board) was opened.

and only display "RomBOOT" string when S1 was closed, may be it correct information, but it also only display "RomBOOT" string when S1

was opened again, I think it will display debug information as description in user-manual.

What's problem with above situation? Please help me!

Re: How can I operate normal ROM boot sequence with GESBC-9260S?

The bootstrap code erases the first block in the NAND FLASH if S1 is closed.   The board can no longer boot as factory installed as there is no bootable code in the NAND FLASH.   Please see discussion here on how to program the NAND FLASH, http://glomation.net/smf/index.php/topic,11.0.html.
