get command prompt with 'root' privileges
Hi,
I am working on GESBC 9260 board. I am using 'debian-arm-linux.tar.gz' as the rootfs. After mounting the rootfs, it is asking the login user. I would like to skip this (asking for login) and boot as 'root' user. Can anyone tell me, how to skip this login step & get command prompt with 'root' privileges?
Thanks,
Jagan

Re: get command prompt with 'root' privileges
Try specify a different program in inittab
T0:23:respawn:/sbin/sh
or something like that
